Health Info Mgmt Serv Technican Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Western MA Ludlow, MA Now Hiring: HIMS Technician - Part Time Hours The HIMS Service Technician is critical for assisting hospital staff and hospital leadership with several areas that are critical to high quality patient care, including: data entry, patient records, charts, and files management, as well as assisting the HIMS Supervisor with chart research and scoring. Registered Health Information (RHIT) preferred. Graduate of accredited Medical Record Technology College or vocational school preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology required. Hospital experience - preferred Machines, Equipment Used: General office equipment such as computer/laptop, telephone, copy/fax machine, calculator, scanner, etc. Microsoft Office software, to include Outlook, Word, and Excel.
