Cottage Works Service Specialist in Ludington, Michigan

Job purpose A Service Specialist provides support to Cottage Works clients through high quality maintenance and construction services, ranging from dock installation and renovations mobile shrink wrapping & boat delivery. Cottage Works provides peace of mind to clients, by completing maintenance work and projects for the client to enable them to relax and enjoy their time at their cottage.

Qualifications

Cottage Works partners with self-motivated, detail oriented individuals who can think independently and be prepared ahead of time for projects to be completed with quality workmanship. Qualifications include:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Reliable cell phone -- Ability to text and work with Google Calendar
  • Hours must be logged into the QB Time App each work day
  • Pre-project homework completed the night before to ensure project runs smoothly -- review drawings/material list in Google Calendar
  • Construction Experience
  • Ability to work on outdoor projects during cold temperatures
  • Organized
  • Professional communication
  • Professional appearance -- will be provided Cottage Works shirts
  • Personable Attitude

Working conditions

Work will often be completed outdoors in cold temperatures. Wet suits and waders will be provided in many circumstances. Some Cottage Works clients can be challenging and the utmost patience and professionalism may be necessary.

Hours A work day is typically 7:30 am -- 3:30 pm. A 40hr/week workload is not guaranteed. Work hours are determined by customer demand. Spring and fall are our busiest seasons, which can require some Saturday work.
