Position Description:

Performs routine administrative support or technical program assistance work. Works under moderate supervision with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Major/Essential Functions:

  • Maintain accurate and complete records for Adult Learning program per grant requirements. Keep abreast of changing requirements or procedures relevant to grant reporting.

  • Perform data entry procedures in TEAMS, FOCUS, and other systems used by TTU K-12.

  • Interact with students, TWC staff, district staff, and university officials. Answer questions, relay Information and solve problems in a professional and timely manner. Assure that officials and agencies are provided information necessary to meet student's needs.

  • Ability to use office equipment, computers and phone systems. Respond to email messages in a timely manner and seek help from supervisors and peers as needed.

  • Have understanding of the TTU-K12 programs, policies and procedures. Be able to assist other areas of the adult learning program.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

  • This position is based on the continuation of grant.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to handle multiple projects.

  • Ability to work in teams and work effectively under stressful situations, ability to plan and organize.

  • Detail oriented.
