POSITION: Senior Sales Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Sales/Marketing

REPORTS TO: Marketing and Sales Manager

FLSA STATUS: Salaried/Non-Exempt

This position is responsible for developing relationships with potential clients and maintaining relationships with current clients. Provide information on rentable spaces and food and beverage options. providing administrative, BOE completion, and sales support to the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones for Marketing and Sales Manager and provide information as needed.

  • Create, type and file correspondence.

  • Scheduling appointments as well as coordinating meetings.

  • Does research on past contracts to assist in preparing for the future.

  • Prepares proposals for special events.

  • Conducts tours of building for prospective lessees.

  • Creates files for all potential clients.

  • Files all completed business and lost business.

  • Sell food and beverage options to clients.

  • Type all event sheets.

  • Prepare Sales Kits

  • Mail sales packets to all leads.

  • Returning phone calls, faxing clients, Federal Express, site inspections, filing, and special events (i.e. Business After Hours)

  • Select and order photos from events and for Sales Kit.

  • Serve as liaison between Marketing and sales manager & all clients.

  • Complete BOEs

  • Prepare information for billing client.

  • All other duties/responsibilities as assigned.

    Education and/or Experience

  • H.S. Diploma/ GED equivalent preferred.

  • Position requires a minimum of 2 years of customer service and sales experience.

    Skills and Abilities

  • Proficient for Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
