Leprino Foods HR Generalist in Lubbock, Texas

For our future state-of-the art 600+ person Lubbock, TX cheese and whey manufacturing facility, Leprino is seeking an HR Generalist on our Plant production team to continue moving our organization to even larger levels of innovation, technological advancement, process improvement, and production efficiencies. Leprino Foods broke ground on the $1 Billion facility in the summer of 2022. The plant becomes operational in 2025 with Phase 1 and will become fully operational by 2026 with Phase 2.

Play a key role in driving the company's strong culture, succession management, organizational design, leadership development and assessment, and recruitment.

Recommend and implement practices necessary to establish positive relationships and promote a higher level of morale.

Improve on existing practices and procedures in order to continue hiring

a remarkable workforce for both exempt and non-exempt level positions.

Support the day-to-day operations of the HR Department and provide advice, assistance, counseling, and follow-up on Company policies and procedures.

Lead employee engagement teams and activities.

Support employee relations practices necessary to establish a positive employer-employee relationship and promote a high level of employee morale and motivation.

Assist with coordinating compliance and regulatory training for all employees.

Coordinate and conduct benefit orientation and other benefits training, including the annual benefits open enrollment process for non-bargaining unit employees.

Coordinate recruiting efforts with business partners to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained within the plant, including development of employment advertisements and/or working with third-party staffing agencies as needed.

Coordinate and facilitate the orientation and on-boarding process for new employees.

YOU HAVE AT LEAST (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS):

A Bachelor's in Human Resources or Organizational Development including two (2) years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Associate.

WE HOPE YOU ALSO HAVE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):

Extensive experience in OD and planning, safety, and training.

A Masters in HR Management, or OD including a PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP (and SCP) certification.

Experience in a 24/7 dairy manufacturing environment.
