Caregiver Job Duties

Professionalsenior careduties will vary depending on the needs and requests of clients and families. Common home care duties and caregiver job descriptions may include:

  • Assistance with other activities of daily living
  • Personal Care (Bathing, Grooming, Dressing Assistance, Toileting, etc.)
  • Transportation (Doctor's Appointment)
  • Medication Reminders
  • Errands (Groceries Shopping, Attend Church Services, Salons)
  • Meal Planning and Preparation (Prepare Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
  • Joyful Companionship-Board games, Brain Building Exercises, Crossword Puzzles, Trivia Games, Card Games, Cook together, Conversation, Read together, answer the phone
  • Light Housekeeping (Dusting, Vacuum, Clean Kitchen, Change the linen Light Laundry, Light Ironing)
Caregiver Qualifications
