Schedule Planner

KBR is providing Project Management Services encompassing Engineering, Procurement, phase execution supporting KBR’s client Sonangol’s multi-billion-dollar grass roots Lobito Refinery Project in Angola Africa. KBR’s Project Management Team is responsible for the overall management of the Owner’s EPC Contractor’s contract.

KBR is seeking a Schedule Planner to be the Project Management Company (PMC) representative. This role will be assigned to PMC Angola based team. This role will provide Planning & Scheduling services on the Sonangol project. This role will manage the successful delivery of the project’s planning and scheduling objectives through engagement and interaction with project team members.

This position will mobilize to Angola

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and coordinate with KBR and client project personnel to assure development and control of planner/scheduler systems and processes

  • Participate in the development of the project’s planning and scheduling strategy as part of the Project Controls and project execution plans

  • Contribute to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis

Education, Experience, & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, Business Management, or related field

  • 4 + years of progressive experience in planning and scheduling

  • In lieu of formal education 12 + years of experience in planning and scheduling

  • Proficient in Primavera’s P6 CPM system

  • Experienced and competent with application of earned value measurement

  • Proven ability to work in diverse, multi-company arrangements on large complex projects

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
