Job Title: Avionics Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician for a 9-month contract-to-hire position. You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of advanced avionics systems on corporate aircraft, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards in accordance with FAA regulations.
Responsibilities
Install Garmen and Collins Avionic systems including NAV, GPS, Autopilot, and WIFI.
Run and make cables and wires.
Demonstrate effective maintenance repair techniques using FAA and industry-accepted practices and tooling.
Perform aircraft modifications, sheet metal repair, corrosion control, landing gear, and engine removals.
Ensure all work is completed per the maintenance manual, service bulletin, RSM, FAA FAR, or other approved documentation.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2+ years of avionics installation experience.
Experience with corporate jets is preferred.
Knowledge of aircraft maintenance and repair.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
A&P License and FCC certification are nice to have.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with a range of aircraft including Beechjets, Citation, Cessna, Gulfstreams, and Skyhawks.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Work Environment
This position is based at a hangar at Lunken Airport. The working hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime available. The role offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience.
