The Opportunity

The Senior Manager, Service Strategy & Marketing is a standalone global role created to drive business growth by devising and deploying commercial service strategies, developing new ‘white space’ services in various regions, and orchestrating relevant marketing and channels.

This high-profile position is part of the Hach’ Global Service Organization (500 associates). It can be remotely located remotely in either North America or Europe and offers the chance to make significant impact and forge a progressive career path.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Hach Services strategy considering customer unmet needs, market dynamics and competition to accelerate competitive advantage of Hach in the marketplace

  • Lead the development of a robust service portfolio with compelling and impactful offerings that resonate with targeted customer segments and develop and articulate Hach’s brand and services stories

  • Partner with Hach’s global leadership and strategic teams to develop a global view that takes into account market specific trends and opportunities in North America, Latin America, Europe, MEA, APAC and China

  • Create and enhance Marketing collateral and web presence

  • Own the quarterly scorecard process of how Hach Service compares globally against the market and competition

  • Evaluate white space opportunities for possible portfolio expansions and adjustments, or through partnerships

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Strategic experience with a large, Global B2B organization, working with strategic framework tools, industry analysis, and/or financial modelling. Developing new, innovative service offerings in multiple geographic regions

  • Experience developing B2B marketing content and presenting to an executive audience in a clear and succinct manner

  • Demonstrated learning agility and the ability to quickly grasp an understanding and command of the global water market: products, players, technologies, and contacts

  • Understanding of the complexity of business needs and decision drivers within an organization. Must be able to consider available facts, constraints, competitive circumstances, and probable consequences

  • Strong qualitative (VOC) and quantitative (analytical modelling) assessment skills and experience, with the ability to interpret large amounts of information
