Dynacraft, a PACCAR Company, is headquartered in Algona, WA, which is a suburb of Seattle. Dynacraft is a diversified global manufacturer of PACCAR medium and heavy-duty truck parts sold under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. For more than forty years, Dynacraft has provided the company’s truck manufacturing divisions and PACCAR Parts service parts division with high quality components, subassemblies and specialized services. Dynacraft has two manufacturing facilities in Algona, WA, Louisville, KY, and Plano, TX.
JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with PACCAR operations, supplier quality and suppliers
Work with assigned supplier quality engineer to assure supplier understanding and compliance with PACCAR Supplier Quality requirements and guidelines.
Work with the supplier quality to improve overall performance to PACCAR, including the identification, communication and documentation of issues to the supplier.
Work with supplier quality to improve delivery, quality and warranty performance through the development and implementation of corrective actions
Assist in performing evaluations of supplier’s capabilities in meeting PACCAR’s quality requirements
Interface with SQM, Purchasing, Engineering, Plants, and Supplier on current quality issues.
Verify supplier production parts meet drawing and standard
Support timely and comprehensive reporting of Supplier issues to SQM and Corporate SQ.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Problem solving ability gained through experience of quality situations
Ability to read engineering drawings
Understanding of quality methods used to achieve best in class product and process performance
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good analytical skills
Organization and interpersonal skills required
Basic but solid Microsoft suite skill and experience
Ability to raise problems to the appropriate level and work across functional and corporate boundaries
EDUCATION/TRAINING
Bachelor's Degree or prior quality experience preferred
ASQ certification desirable
