POSITION PURPOSE

Enters and documents all repair work completed by maintenance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned to this position as needed.

  • Tracks all original documentation, tallies issued paperwork, proper completion of paperwork and forwarding to Quality Control for auditing/processing.

  • Perform transactions in Ramco of install and removal of aircraft components.

  • Performs necessary data entry and reporting.

  • Create returns of repairable parts.

  • Coordinates with maintenance to correct any paperwork returned by Quality Assurance or found during audit process.

  • Resolve all pending part issues for each visit package or log page.

  • Maintains Production Control file cabinets.

  • Scan all completed work documents into Airvault.

  • Responds to Records Department for any discrepancies found during final audit of visit packages.

  • Disposes of documentation once instructed by Records Manager.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability necessary to perform this job.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

  • 1 year of experience in supply, production control, or data entry.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 2 or more years of experience in supply, production control or data entry.

  • Possess working knowledge of material logistics, Maintenance Planning or Production Control.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

REASONING/PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

DECISION MAKING

Makes limited decisions and determines best methods to solve problems by referring to established precedents and policies. Impact of decisions is moderately low.
