Position Objective:

Analyze security systems and seek improvements on a continuous basis. Report possible threats or software issues. Research weaknesses and find ways to counter them. Find cost-effective solutions to cybersecurity problems. Design computer security architecture and developing detailed cyber security designs. Develop best practices and security standards for the organization. Assist fellow employees with cybersecurity, software, hardware, or IT needs.


Key Accountabilities:

* Support a complex security architecture that includes antivirus administration, Web filtering administration, and endpoint protection (DLP).

* Key member of the Incident Response team.

* Participate in the internal/external audit process.

* Implement and support new security technologies and make recommendations to management.

* Knowledge on cyber security threats and intelligence landscape.

* Participate as a SME for vulnerability remediation.

* Communicate to team members and senior management regularly on cyber risks to the enterprise through briefings and reports.

* Enforce the company's security policies and mitigate security risks to preserve confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems.

* Contribute to security awareness training for employees.

* AD-hoc projects as assigned.


Requirements

Position Requirements:

  1. Bachelors degree preferred or 3+ years experience working in Information Security;
  2. 3+ year of experience working in Information Security;
  3. 5+ years of experience working in Information Technology;
  4. Knowledge of problem solving & troubleshooting techniques;
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  6. CISSP or other Security Certification is a plus;
  7. Prefers a challenging security role not isolated to a single security solution;
  8. Experience with multitude of security products;
  9. Ability to work as a team player with willingness to handle assigned tasks, whether simple or complex;
  10. Ability to multi-task;
  11. Strong communication and teamwork skills;
  12. Complex problem-solving abilities with experience in performing root cause analysis;
  13. Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education.
