Forklift Certification Specialist - Louisville, KY

Job Summary:
The Forklift Certification Specialist will conduct regular forklift certification classes for our local field
associates and customers and play a hands-on role in our industry-leading service delivery and safety
program. In addition to prior forklift training/certification experience, this interactive role requires
strong coaching, customer service, and communication skills.

Your Role & Responsibilities:
* Leading regular forklift certification classes for our field employee workforce at our local
office and at customer sites.
* Coaching, evaluating, and developing the skills of class participants.
* Traveling between our branch office and local customer sites as needed.
* Fostering an environment of teamwork and cooperation and a culture of workplacesafety.
* Personifying our organization at the client work site; demonstrating the company's and
the area's core values, operating principles, and servicedifferentiators.

Preferred Education & Experience:
* * Experience operating a Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-Up Reach Forklift, Electric Stand-Up Pallet Jack and general knowledge of various types of PIT's.
* Proof of current or prior forklift certificationCompetencies (Skills & Knowledge You'll Bring):
* Prior experience training and certifying other employees onforklifts.
* Strong customer service abilities.
* Flexible "can do" attitude.
* High levels of motivation, self-direction, and maturity.
* Ability to work with people from all socio-economic strata.
* Comes together to achieve organizational goals in order to succeed and grow. Therefore, every
employee should have the ability to work in a team and contribute towards individual and
business goals.
* Communicates information and ideas clearly and articulately both in oral and written form. Uses
appropriate language, style and methods depending on audience and the purpose of
communication.
* Achieves results in a quality, timely, and cost-effective way. Sees priorities, plans the efficient
use of resources, and monitors progress against objectives.
* Responds positively to change and adapted to new situations quickly. Able to take on a diverse
range of tasks equally effectively.
