Waystar Corporate Financial Analyst, Pricing in Louisville, Kentucky

ABOUT THIS POSITION

With the guidance of the Director, Pricing Strategy, and leveraging Microsoft Excel and Power BI, this position will support internal stakeholders by executing on key pricing initiatives and creating and maintaining KPI summary reports. Individuals in this position are expected to develop a broad knowledge of Waystar’s business, industry, and operations in order to support analysis and decision making at all levels of the organization.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Drive business value and performance through innovative data analytics

  • Execute on price increase plan to assure notifications and implementations occur on schedule

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and testing pricing process improvements

  • Using statistical techniques, create reports showing effectiveness of pricing activities

  • With support of the Pricing Director, complete special projects to support the overall pricing strategy

  • Proactively and independently identify opportunities for improvement

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, statistics, quantitative marketing, data science, or other quantitative field

  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills including: vlookup, pivot tables, and logic operators

  • Familiarity with data visualization software, preferably Power BI, with a desire to develop advanced Power BI skills

  • Basic understanding of statistics and statistical modeling, with a desire to develop statistics skill set

  • Ability to work cross-functionally to collect input and drive optimal pricing solutions

  • Passion for learning and self-development with a desire to learn all Waystar products

BONUS POINTS

  • 1-3+ years of similar work experience

  • Experience working in Salesforce and CPQ tools

  • Accepts responsibility for actions and understands the concept of ownership

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with great attention to detail
