Universal Health Services Clinical Services Inpatient Therapist in LOUISVILLE, Kentucky

Responsibilities

The Clinical Services Inpatient Therapist is Full-Time Days position with benefits.

This position qualifies for a $5,000 sign-on bonus!

Since 1985 The Brook Hospital has been offering hope to individuals, families, and communities. The Brook is the leader in providing quality mental health and addiction treatment services. The Brook – Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults.

As a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, job functions include case coordination; assisting in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security; ensuring good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care and other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Duties

  • To provide family and group therapy on assigned cases, including obtaining psychosocial assessment information, referral source contact, and discharge planning

  • Obtains psychosocial assessment information, EDO assessments, and reports

  • Ensures that therapies conducted are consistent with the goals and philosophies of the program, and supportive of each patient's individual treatment plan

  • Documents discharge planning one (1) time weekly, at a minimum completes and signs the discharge contract

  • Assures there is a clinical therapy note in chart one (1) time weekly, if not conducting family therapy Completes group notes in a timely manner

  • Completes all treatment plans in a timely manner, and includes all required clinical services objectives Serves as Case Manager for assigned cases

  • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Required: Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences

    Preferred: Licensed or under supervision in state of Kentucky (CSW/LCSW CADC/LCADC, MFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, LPA, LPP)

    Preferred: One year inpatient behavioral health work experience.
