Job Title: Production Process Coach

Job Description

These supervisors will oversee UAW employees within different areas of the plant. They will be responsible for 50-90 employees in the department, overseeing daily tasks and holding others accountable to follow policies and procedures.

Hard Skills

  • Experience supervising within a union environment

  • Automotive background, preferably within a logistics environment

  • Previous supervision experience

  • Experience working within an Automotive environment, preferably an OEM or tier 1 supplier

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Basic computer literacy, specifically with Excel

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Louisville, Kentucky.

Work Environment

Must be flexible with hours/shifts; some people are working 60-70 hours/week. Very fast-paced environment; must be able to make quick decisions on the fly. Business casual dress; golf shift appropriate. This is a swing shift position rotating every 3 months between A, B, and C crew. A crew production runs M-Thur from 6am-4:30pm, B crew is Tues-Fri from 6pm-4:30am, and C crew is Fri/Sat from 6am-4:30pm and Sun/Mon night from 6pm-4:30am. Supervisors are expected to be there 30-45 minutes before the line starts and also after production ends.
