About the RoleAs Command & Data Handling (C&DH) Technical Lead/Chief Architect (Senior Principal Electrical Engineer), you will use your skills and expertise to support the execution of the business unit strategy by providing technical leadership, guidance, and design influence for space-based C&DH product development and delivery. This includes providing technical guidance throughout the product lifecycle from design concept phase to product release. You will drive the architecture, design, and development of product technical baselines that support multiple customers and applications, ensuring consistency, continuity, and configuration control. Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI security clearance

Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline and typically 14 or more years of relevant experience

Advanced knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

Thorough understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools.

Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in electrical engineering or similar technical specialty.

Advanced knowledge of C&DH products (e.g. flight computers), their architectures, their components, their functions, and their interfaces.

Experience developing and maintaining product line technical baselines that support multiple programs, ensuring consistency, continuity, and configuration control.

Experience developing, qualifying, and delivering C&DH products in a rapid prototyping commercial space development environment.

Thorough understanding of all phases of product design and program lifecycles to include requirements synthesis, design, manufacturing, integration, test, certification, and sustainment.

Expert understanding of the tradeoffs in unit and system performance and reliability across different orbital applications.

Ability to influence product design, in coordination with Programs, to achieve design-to-cost (DTC) objectives.

Ability to work collaboratively across functions to ensure that design-for-X (DFX) principles are consistently applied to product development.

Demonstrated passion for ideation and innovation, as well as motivating others to act by creating a shared sense of vision or purpose.

Possess a strategic mindset, linking technology and business.

Physical/Mental/Emotional Requirements:

Frequently walk, sit, stand, climb stairs and steps

Frequently repeat same hand, arm, and fi ger motion many times to include finger and hand dexterity

Rarely lifting or carrying up to 20 lbs.

Working Conditions:
