*Job Summary:* The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner to execute construction tasks as part of larger projects such as earthwork, site work, and demolition operations. This role requires a skilled individual who can handle machinery such as bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, and loaders.

*Key Responsibilities:* - Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures. - Conduct daily safety checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition. - Follow project specifications to prepare construction sites for building or demolition. - Execute tasks such as excavation, back filling, leveling, road work, and demolition. - Coordinate with other equipment operators and ground personnel to ensure safe practices on the job site. - Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance.

*Qualifications:* - High school diploma or equivalent; further training from a vocational school or certification program preferred. (DOES NOT HAVE TO BE GRADUATE, TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED)

*Skills Gained * - Proficiency in operating heavy machinery with precision. - Strong understanding of construction and safety principles. - Excellent coordination and mechanical skills. - Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
