Synectic Solutions Inc Production Control Clerk in Los Angeles County, California

Looking for an opportunity to work with a talented team and expand your experience as a Logistician? Synectic Solutions Incorporated needs to add a Production Control Clerk to support our current list of services provided to the U.S. Navy.

Two Years of experience in:

  • Updating information in Ordnance Information System – Retail (OIS-R) for missiles and missile components daily.

  • Perform issue and receipt support functions for explosives.

  • Perform quality control checks and managing the Supply Discrepancy Report program to ensure inventory accuracy.

  • Identify excess material (e.g. obsolescence, H Code, etc.) and process it through the Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services.

  • Manage and perform labeling, two-dimensional barcoding, marking, stenciling in accordance with Federal and Navy Standards.

  • Creating material movement documents.

  • Conduct spot, special, monthly, annual, inventory sampling, semi-annual production building inventories, and annual storage inventories.

  • Perform physical inventory of all spare and repair parts. Perform inventory management principles within the building and the missile/component magazine locations.

  • Identify inventory errors and correct any verified discrepancies.

  • Perform research within OIS daily. Research includes technical data retrievals to ensure All-Up-Rounds (AUR)s) and their corresponding components, Naval Ammunition Re-Classification (NAR) retrievals to ensure items are placed into the proper condition code., asset retrievals to confirm physical asset quantities and locations, and transaction history reveals to confirm material configuration changes, movements, issues dates, and other transactions.

  • Prepare complete inventory status reports, such as magazine inventory reports and Missing, Lots Stolen, Recovered (MLSR) reports.

  • Create daily OIS generated and locally generated movement documents for bringing missiles and/or components into or out of the production building.

  • Generate shipment preparation worksheets for off-station material shipment.

    Required Qualifications Education:

  • Must be knowledgeable in OPNAVINST 5530.13D, OPNAVINST 8000.16, OPNAVINST 8023.14 (Series) NAVSUP P-723, NAVSUP P-724, NAVSUP P-805, MIL-STD-129R, MIL-STD-2073-1E with Change 4

  • Must be able to successfully pass an explosive physical exanimation.

  • Must successfully pass an Arms Ammunition & Explosives Screening

    Clearance:

  • Position requires a Secret Clearance that must be maintained for the entire employment.

    Experience:

  • Position requires a working knowledge of Ordnance Information Systems – Retail and Ordnance Information System – Wholesale

    Salary Range Hourly: $27.61 to $34.51
