Synectic Solutions Inc Materials Coordinator in Los Angeles County, California

Looking for an opportunity to work with a talented team and expand your experience as a Material Coordinator? Synectic Solutions Incorporated needs to add a Material Coordinator to support our current list of services provided to the U.S. Navy.

Three years of experience in:

  • Maintain hazardous materials in accordance with State and Federal regulations.

  • Maintain accountability of all materials through disposition

  • Perform and record weekly inventory checks and inspections.

  • Manage the calibration of tools and equipment to include replacement tools.

  • Record inventory production supply and record quantities.

  • Manage and update calibrated tools and equipment.

  • Manage production supplies (e.g. recording quantities, replacing broken tools, and tracking equipment).

  • Maintain inventory control for all Minor Property and Sub-Minor Property.

  • Coordinate all matters relating to all personal property items.

  • Coordinate and ensure app personal property receives labels and Bar Codes.

  • Conduct sub-minor monthly spot checks, annual and triennial inventories.

  • Ship, track, and document sub-minor, and Minor and Plant property assets.

  • Maintain records of pooled resources and assets issued on a temporary basis for use.

  • Issue/deliver assets and follow up with user for return of asset if not returned by scheduled date.

  • Receive, recommend for disposal, and process excess non-ordnance material for disposal. Includes screening, identifying, segregating, salvaging, redistributing, exchanging, returning, and palletizing.

  • Provide daily inventory control management, minor troubleshooting, and deployment of Two-dimensional barcode (2DBC) and radio assets.

    Required Qualifications Education:

  • Must be knowledgeable in OPNAVINST 8023.14 (Series) and NAVSUP P-805

  • Must be able to successfully pass an explosive physical exanimation.

  • Must successfully pass Arms Ammunition & Explosives Screening

  • Must be able to be licensed on a forklift.

    Clearance:

  • Position requires a Secret Clearance that must be maintained for the entire employment.

    Experience:

  • Position requires five years of logistics experience relating to Navy Ordnance.

  • Three years management experience with DoD contracts ensuring quality of products and services, schedule, cost control, business relations, and management of personnel that includes:

  • Planning, directing, coordinating, and managing administrative activities of the contract.

  • Reviewing and maintaining quality of technical work done on the program.

  • Assuring and monitoring timeliness and quality of all work products.

  • Monitoring and reporting task order performance and financial status.

    Salary Range: $34.68 to $$43.35
