Job Summary

The Technical Analyst II serves as the technical and business process SME for each of the business domains. This position will be involved in multiple initiatives at any given time, with primary responsibility for requirements gathering, technology development, stakeholder adoption and technical support for end users, building out, optimizing, and/or upgrading the relevant application portfolio. The Technical Analyst II will function as a liaison between the developmental team and business clients gathering, analyzing and defining requirements. Both the business and technical teams will be consuming documents created by the analyst.

Duties

Liaison between I.T developmental team and business clients gathering and defining requirements.

Analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the requirements of projects across stakeholders and departments.

Create and modify analytical documents to support the engineering team including flow charts and functional decompositions.

Will Support Enterprise Strategic projects, Departmental backlogs, Production defects and other projects as needed.

Provide analytical support to drive project.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field

In lieu of degree, equivalent education and/or experience may be considered.

Education Preferred

Experience

Required:

At least 5 years of Analyst experience.

Hands on experience working with enterprise warehouse and OLTP databases.

Preferred:

At least 4 years of Analyst experience working in a mixed AGILE and traditional I.T. environment.

Prior healthcare insurance payer experience.

Skills

Required:

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong Data Analytical skills, working with SQL Server.

Demonstrated ability to create succinct flowcharts.

Ability to facilitate business and technical design sessions.

Must possess the interviewing, facilitation, organizational, modeling and analytical skills necessary to deliver comprehensive requirements and designs to the development team.

Demonstrated ability to transform business requirements into technical requirements and work closely with developers in developing the solution for the project.

Strong ability to work with minimal supervision.

Preferred:

Strong Data Analytical skills, working with SQL Server and ORACLE databases.
