We are hiring Substitute Teachers for Southern California Public Charter Schools. The second half of the school year is the busier part and we need more Substitute Teachers to assist at our school partner campuses this Spring. We have jobs for subs in South Los Angeles supporting our school partner, *Watts Learning Center. *

Pay Rates: (No experience necessary)

$25 per hour for Substitute Teachers

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) requirements & related fees: https://www.ctc.ca.gov/credentials/leaflets/30-Day-Substitute-Teaching-Permit-(CL-505p)

    * Responsibilities:*

  • Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with school district lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies

  • Leading instruction in the classroom by conducting the teacher’s existing lesson plans, assigning reasonable tasks and homework

  • Empower students to learn, and encourage classroom participation

  • Build a classroom environment that’s conducive to learning and appropriate to the ability and interests of students, adapting to the various learning styles of students
