Sr. Production Coordinator

ANINE BING is looking for a Sr. Production Coordinator to join the Production team in Los Angeles.

The Senior Production Coordinator works with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.

The ideal candidate is an organized and passionate team player driven to contribute to ANINE BING's reputation, growth, and success. The Senior Production Coordinator is confident in collaborating with designers, buyers, and technical designers to ensure all production requirements, such as colors, trims, fabric quality, and fit.

The Sr. Production Coordinator is based at our Los Angeles HQ, works in-person Monday through Thursday, and reports to the Production Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Follow-up with vendors to ensure that development and production samples are executed correctly, meet brand quality standards, and are delivered on time.

  • Open packages, check samples for accurate fabrics and trim details before adding to the fit log and passing to Technical Design for fitting. Flag urgent styles when needed.

  • Attend weekly fittings to ensure production samples are being approved on time; ensure any changes that might cause cost or delivery revisions are communicated to internal and external partners.

  • Review quality control and garment testing reports before all shipments. Ensure care labels are accurate on the garment and saved in the PLM system.

  • Issue purchase orders to suppliers and advise cost and ship revisions to Buying for approval. Lead seasonal chase/cut program between vendors and Buying.

  • Partner with the Import team on any PO discrepancies and shortages/overages. Work with vendors on replenishment options for Buying.

  • Support Campaign sample handoff by proactively troubleshooting with internal and external partners for on-time and most accurate samples. Advise any changes after handoff that may be needed.

  • Maintain and update the Product Development Report (PDR) and report weekly updates to the Production Manager.

Requirements:

  • Must have 3-5 years of production experience

  • Basic understanding of garment construction as well as technical knowledge of production preferred. Experience in non-apparel, shoes and handbags is a plus.

  • Basic understanding of fabric types and costing requirements of garments preferred

  • Must be proactive and possess the ability to meet tight deadlines

  • Must have exceptional organizational skills

  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Suite

Compensation

  • The anticipated base salary range for this role is $67,000 - $73,000
