UCLA Health Senior Web and Digital Strategist in Los Angeles, California

Description

The Senior Web and Digital Strategist is responsible for maintaining and updating the UCLA Health enterprise website and managing the consumer-focused provider and locations directories in support of marketing strategy priorities. In this role, you will serve as a subject matter expert and provide expert advice to department administrators, clinic managers, providers and clinical stakeholders regarding effective website presentation and digital engagement strategies in order to ensure digital content effectively meets user needs.

As our Senior Web and Digital Strategist, you will support, guide and enable clinicians and administrative leaders to fully leverage UCLA Health's clinical taxonomy to ensure their clinical practice is accurately represented in the Find a Provider and Find a Location directories. Additionally, in alignment with marketing strategy, you will support the promotion of clinical services ensuring web content development projects are completed on time and deliverables meet end-user and stakeholder requirements.

Salary Range: $86,900-$197,300 Annually

Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience

  • Superior writing, editing and proofreading skills with the ability to present information clearly and creatively.

  • Ability to maintain, update and review website content in a timely manner, often under tight deadline.

  • Proficiency with custom Content Management Systems (CMS).

  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and digital marketing techniques.

  • Experience in engaging with multi-disciplinary teams to determine solutions to recurring challenges.

  • Web content management (CMS): Drupal, Wordpress

  • Project management & collaboration tools: Workfront, Basecamp, Smartsheet, Confluence,

  • Web analytics: SiteImprove, Google Analytics

  • Web design: Familiarity with basic HTML markup

  • Adobe Creative Cloud: Basic Photoshop

  • Design tools: MidJourney AI, Figma

Preferred:

  • Database tools: Excel, Tableau

  • Media content management: WebDAM/Bynder or similar, Google Services Suite

  • Email marketing software: Oracle/Eloqua or similar
