Regional Sales Manager - Auto Finance

As a Regional Sales Manager with Capital One Auto Finance, you have an amazing opportunity to manage a dynamic team of 8-10 Area Sales Managers. Responsibilities:

  • Provides primary management and oversight to Regional sales team by ensuring sales protocol is followed and business results are maximized.

  • Responsible for in the field sales coaching of a high-performance sales team of up to 10 Area Sales Managers to meet and exceed all critical sales performance objectives.

  • Responsible for coordinating activities and partnering with Sales Management team to obtain maximum efficiencies in production.

  • Must possess a well-developed capacity to analyze and organize a sales team of outside sales representatives, including time management, account management, problem solving, and customer interaction skills.

  • Must be able to work independently and in collaboration with others on assigned tasks and projects while meeting all deadlines.

  • Must be able to engage directly and effectively with the Key Customers to build strong relationships and to generate incremental originations volumes.

  • Provides oversight on policy and procedure adherence and ensures compliant actions.

  • Extensive travel (up to 60%)

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 5 years experience managing teams or people in the financial services industry or 5 years of sales experience within the auto finance industry.

  • At least 5 years credit underwriting experience in indirect lending

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • At least 5 years credit underwriting experience in the indirect lending, auto finance industry.

  • At least 5 years’ experience managing people and/or teams in the auto finance industry.
