UCLA Health Radiology Business Intelligent Lead Analyst in Los Angeles, California

In this key role, you will provide advanced data and analytical support to the Radiological Science Department. The main focus of this position will be financial data architecture/integration/mining to provide meaningful custom-designed analyses to senior leadership. You will perform complex in-depth strategic analysis, including designing/developing a variety of dashboard reports and automating recurring reports to provide timely reporting needs and analytical insights. You will:

  • Prepare integrated reports

  • Present findings to the Radiology department and teams

  • Provide data support for performance improvement projects/initiatives

  • Manage data-driven projects

  • Help identify critical issues and develop solutions

Salary range: $37.73 -$83.81 Hourly

Qualifications

We're seeking an independent, detail-oriented, and creative individual with:

  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, business, computer science, mathematics, or quantitative analysis

  • MBA or MS in a quantitative analytical field preferred

  • Three or more years of experience in data management/analysis desired

  • Three or more years of experience in the healthcare industry a plus

  • Previous experience in statistical analysis strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with Tableau, SQL/Python/R, Excel, SAS, and PowerPoint

  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative analytical abilities

  • Strong critical thinking, project management, and problem-solving skills

  • Understanding of healthcare issues, regulatory requirements, and reform

  • Excellent communication and prioritizing skills
