Role Description

QA Manager sought by SMBC MANUBANK in Los Angeles, CA.

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for ensuring quality decision outcomes at scale across risk infrastructure. Be part of the Credit and Fraud risk technology group and contribute to end-to-end ownership of testing strategy, framework, and execution, including testing activities spanning in-sprint, SIT, UAT test efforts and procuring relevant signoffs for digital bank’s mission-critical decisioning infrastructure. Work with stakeholders to obtain and clarify strategy requirements, define test strategy and design, and lead testing to guarantee accurate outcomes. Manage and facilitate the QA release and production release process, along with support to Prod support and DevOps. Build auxiliary capabilities (test automation at scale, dashboards) to support validation and sign-off on strategy implementation. Validate SIT and functional testing of datasets and platform components. Perform ongoing functional checks to identify anomalies in decisioning logic. Telecommuting permitted from any location in the U.S.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field, plus five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate QA engineering or related testing experience in design, planning and execution of test for business rules, APIs and web services, including experience in QA methodology; decision engine; and building and maintaining test automation frameworks.

Experience must include three (3) years of experience with data payloads and risk model/strategy validations; and operating in a sprint cycle.

*Specific skills: Also requires experience or knowledge in the following: 1) Experience working with Postman, Newman, AWS, Azure, TestNG, Rest API, Selenium, JMeter, and Junit or Mockit; 2) Knowledge of agile operating principles; 3) Knowledge of database modeling and data warehousing principles including SQL and NoSQL; 4) Experience in Big data technologies and data lake; 5) Experience driving continuous process improvement; 6) Experience providing technical guidance to team; and 7) Experience in credit and fraud risk technology platforms

The salary for this position is $145,000 per year.
