UCLA Health Project Manager, Supply Chain Management in Los Angeles, California

Description

We are seeking an

experienced and motivated Supply Chain Management Project Manager to join our

dynamic team. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing

and coordinating various projects related to supply chain management, focusing on

developing and implementing the project management software UPlan. Reporting to

the Director of Logistics and Supply Chain Operations, the Project Manager

will support supply chain management operations for the ambulatory clinic

expansion, the health systems ERP Implementation, sustainability projects, and

other operational activities related to the support of UCLA Health.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.

  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule.

  • Supply Chain Management:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify supply chain challenges and opportunities.

  • Implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.

  • Software Development:

  • Lead the development of project management software tailored to the specific needs of the supply chain.

  • Work closely with software development teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal teams and external partners.

  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.

  • Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.

  • Monitor and assess project risks throughout the lifecycle, implementing adjustments as necessary.

Salary range:

$78,800.00- $175,000.00 Annually

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, and/or minimum 5-years project manager experience.

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in supply chain management or related industries.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes and challenges.

  • A project management certificate and/ or quality assurance processes like Six Sigma or Lean or equivalent project management experience is required.

  • Strong project management skills with the proven ability to deliver agreed objectives with timeframes, including experience in project outcome reporting utilizing industry standards.

  • Experience in software development project management.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, follow through on assigned tasks, and adhere to deadlines.

  • Ability to work within a large organization and to comply with regulatory requirements.

  • Ability to function effectively in an interdisciplinary team.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
