We are made up of five vertically integrated manufacturing and assembly divisions, each with their own history, specializations and products. Each division compliments the other with their unique skills and products and at the same time, each work together as a vertically integrated team to provide the most cost effective, high-quality interconnect products to our customers on time.

SCB Division of DCX-CHOL Enterprises Inc. is seeking experienced Production Assemblers with the following qualifications:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

With supervision, perform basic and routine assembly operations on components, and subassemblies in accordance with military, aerospace and or other assembly standards using visual aids and verbal written instructions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Crimping techniques

•Solder/Crimp splicing

•Connector assembly

•Boot/Sleeving connectorization

•Contact loading

•Hardware connectorization

•Wire routing techniques

•Use of cable assembling hand and power tools such as heat guns, hand crimpers, screw drivers etc.

•Use of rulers and tape measure.

EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

•Cable/Harness Assembly in Aerospace and Military Applications

•Connector Assembly Experience in Commercial and Military Applications, Soldering Experience per MIL-STD-2000, IPC-610, IPC-620 and/or J-Std-001-Class 3.

•Ability to Read & Interpret Blueprints, Schematics, Traveler/Routers, Bills of Material & Wire Lists.

•Must be able to understand and follow verbal instructions and be detailed oriented.

•Maintain a clean, safe well organized work-station through routine housekeeping.

•Familiarity with continuous-improvement techniques.

•Good eyesight

•Excellent finger dexterity

•MIL-STD experience preferred

•IPC certification preferred

•NASA certification preferred

Job Safety Analysis:

Normal work time spent indoors

A neat and tidy personal appearance must be maintained;

repetitive hand movement

Occasional periods of high levels of physical exertion needed, this includes heavy

lifting (50+ lb.), walking, bending, pushing large loads, carrying, stooping, reaching, etc.
