We are currently seeking a Manager of Business Development to create and support sustainable, profitable partnerships across multiple brand categories. This person will be responsible for generating new business leads, responding to RFPs and closing new business opportunities.
Proactively identify and pursue opportunities with brands and properties
Handle all steps in the sales process, from prospecting and relationship building to the management of RFPs and closing business
Work closely with other cross-functional teams (creative, talent, media) to manage deliverables when creating custom proposals
Succinctly communicate to all teams the specifics of a client ask, the keys to success, and any other guidelines that will set internal teams up to win
Negotiate contracts and expansion opportunities
Close deals. Meet or exceed annual revenue goals
3-4 years experience working in a business development capacity for a media, influencer or branded content company
Deep understanding of modern marketing – specifically social media, influencer marketing & branded content
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including Keynote experience)
Ability to pitch strategic insights and creative ideas effectively
Must be self-motivated, driven and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Adapts to different personalities and comfortable in a dynamic environment
Experience carrying a $1MM+ Annual Recurring Revenue book of business
