The HR Team at Netmarble US is more than HR - we are thought partners, business influencers, and ambassadors for our company culture. The HR Generalist will support approximately 75+ employees (and growing), have the opportunity to participate various HR projects, act as point of contract for employees and managers in support of any employee relations, and work closely with executive leadership to instill a culture of excellence.

Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Report To: Head of HR

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and lead the hiring processes including but not limited to job postings, applicant tracking, candidate screenings, interview coordination, and vendor communications and contract negotiations.

  • Improve and develop new hire onboarding plans and ensure successful delivery of onboarding practices.

  • Maintains payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating, and inputting data.

  • Receives and coordinates requests for leave and other absences.

  • Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law.

  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records.

  • Facilitate, track and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing employee education, and work assessments.

  • Administer various insurance/benefits plans and serve as a primary contact between employees and benefits vendors.

  • Respond to employee inquiries and offer advice and counseling under established company guideline when necessary.

  • Support monthly & annual HR development strategies that include company-wide events, wellness programs, and trainings to drive for a positive corporate culture development and measure its effectiveness and key results.

  • Assist with the development of policies and procedures to strengthen the quality of HR operations and federal/state legal compliance.

  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

  • Provides administrative support and facilitate communication or solutions to ensure efficient day-to-day operation of office.

  • Maintaining files and records with effective filing systems

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

  • At least 2 years of experience working in HR field

  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.

  • Bilingual (English / Korean) is a plus

  • Intermediate or higher skillsets on Microsoft Office Products
