Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the non-profit industry, based in Los Angeles, California. The role is an HR Recruiter, where the successful candidate will be instrumental in driving recruitment efforts, building applicant sources, and managing the entire recruitment process.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the first point of contact for all recruitment activities, driving social media programs to attract external candidates

• Develop applicant sources by researching and connecting with community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, and internet sites

• Ensure accuracy of job requisitions for staff requests

• Determine applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and qualifications

• Attract applicants by advertising job openings and contacting recruiters across various platforms

• Evaluate applicant qualifications by conducting pre-screening and interviews, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements

• Coordinate and communicate the recruitment, interviewing, and selection process with external and internal candidates

• Maintain and update the Applicant Tracking System to ensure accurate reporting of candidate data

• Act as liaison with employment agencies, social media outlets, and temporary agencies

• Provide regular recruitment updates on employment activity

• Ensure legal compliance by understanding current legislation, enforcing regulations with managers, and confirming new hire orientation schedule

• Utilize web community/social media strategies and tactics to attract potential candidates

• Follow up on all pre-employment aspects such as background checks, references, health screenings, and educational verifications

• Participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks, and participate in professional organizations to update job knowledge

• Assist with internship tracking and maintain accurate records of all volunteers.

Skills:

• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Careerbuilder, Kronos Timekeeping System, Microsoft Excel, About Time

• Experience in Background Checks, Benefit Functions, Documentation, Hiring Processes Requirements • Must have experience in ADP - Financial Services

• Proficient in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Familiarity with Careerbuilder is required

• Knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping System is a must

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in About Time software is desirable

• Ability to conduct Background Checks

• Understanding of Benefit Functions is necessary

• Strong Documentation skills are required

• Familiarity with various Hiring Processes is a must

• Experience in the Non-Profit industry is desirable

• Previous experience as an HR Recruiter is a plus

• Must have strong communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Excellent organization and time management skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize

• Strong decision-making skills

• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is desired.
