Responsibilities

Position Summary:

This role performs a variety of tasks in areas of maintenance mechanics carpentry locksmith plumbing and painting. Duties may include:

  • Performs preventive/corrective maintenance of HVAC Pneumatic Tube System Air Handling Unit and other equipment which meet manufacturers maintenance standard and quality service to our customers.

  • Performs receptacle testing in compliance with regulations. Performs corrective maintenance such as replacement of lighting fixtures and minor plumbing to meet lighting and building standards.

  • Assists the carpenter/locksmith with the installation and repair of doors window cabinets to meet work request.

  • Performs unclogging of drains and replacement of fixtures to meet operating standards and patient satisfaction.

  • Conducts fire alarm testing in coordination with other department in compliance with LAFDJCAHO and DHS regulations and also responds to any fire alarm system call.

Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • Previous experience in general maintenance experience in an acute hospital setting preferred.

  • High School education or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge in operating different kind of tools.

Pay Range

$37.38 - $46.99 /hour
