Description

As a Dietetic Assistant in the Department of Nutrition, you will obtain and transpose meal orders into the system, verify that meal orders meet diet order parameters, and be the liaison between the Call Center and production and assembly areas.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering phones and obtaining meal orders from patients

  • Mediate patient concerns regarding meal service

  • Verifying meal orders

  • Processing diet requisitions

  • Processing reports and updates

  • Serving as a quality assurance control point for every aspect of the room service program

This is a full-time position eligible for full benefits.

Salary range: $25.11-33.17 HourlyQualifications

Required:

  • Excellent knowledge in diets.

  • Ability to answer a busy phone line while multi-tasking.

  • Ability to obtain meal orders via telephone.

  • Ability to enter meal orders into the system established for menu processing.

  • Ability to verify meal orders meet patients' diet order parameters.

  • Ability to coordinate Call Center process with Production and Assembly areas.

  • Ability to document required information efficiently and consistently.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely.

  • Demonstrate superb computer literacy.

  • Ability to demonstrate a positive attitude in the face of adversity.
