Overview

Purpose Statement/Position Summary: The Clinical Lab Scientist performs a range of standard and/or technically demanding procedures in one or more of the Clinical Laboratory disciplines for the HemOnc department exercising initiative and independent judgment. TCTL process all cellular therapy products for the hospital. The lab performs Red Blood Cell reductions, plasma reductions, cryopreservation, cell selection, thaw and wash procedures. Additionally we perform our own department quality analysis, including flow cytometry, endotoxin, cell count. The CLS is responsible for communicating technical or general information to their manager, director, & medical staff. Participate in administrative activities. Provides expertise and serves as a technical resource for others. May provide functional supervision to support staff.

Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience: 1+ year of relevant clinical experience.

Education/Licensure/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in biology or related science required.

Pay Scale Information

$84,656.00-$146,151.00

The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements.
