Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst (Customer facing) for one of their large media and entertainment clients. This is a contract through June 2025 and is likely extended beyond. This is a nearshore remote role, requiring working 8:00am- 5:00 pm Pacific Standard Time. In this role you will be supporting the News Business unit and will be responsible for eliciting requirements directly from stakeholders (Directors, VPs etc) from the News Business unit, writing tickets in Jira, identifying if there are any issues and then understanding the workflow and processes. This is a fast moving business unit with a lot for requirements, so its important we have someone that can hit the ground running and not need a lot of ramp up time. Responsibilities include customer engagement, business workflow discovery, use case definition, workflow modeling, and managing complex requirements, while serving as a customer liaison between the business and development.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically gathering requirements from the users/customers
Experience and/or knowledge of media/entertainment/news industry
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills, including creation of project documentation, presentation materials, and presenting to business functional, and technical audiences
Strong hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies such as Agile Scrum and Kanban
Expertise in business stakeholder engagement and relationship management
Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements, process flows, system interface specifications, user stories, and business rules that lead to intuitive and efficient end-end workflows
Hands-on experience on tools such as MS Office, Google Suite, Visio, Lucidchart, JIRA, Confluence, Invision null
