Description If you have a background in accounting and great interpersonal skills, you may the perfect candidate for this Bookkeeper role at a company known for it's team-oriented environment. This short-term contract / temporary to hire Bookkeeper role will be located in the Los Angeles, California area. Robert Half is seeking an organized Bookkeeper with experience and a can-do attitude to join a growing team at a dynamic company in the Financial Services industry. Be sure to learn more about this role! If you have experience with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this may be the right Bookkeeper role for you.

What you get to do every single day

  • Support quality archived records by filing documents

  • Monitor accounts by balancing entries

  • Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

  • Supervise bookkeeping policies and procedures, along with developing a framework to track financial transactions with an established chart of accounts

  • Preside over and review general ledger

  • Put together financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

  • Review payments received and record deposits Requirements - BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred

  • Strong familiarity with Accounting Entries

  • Accounting Control experience preferred

  • Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

  • Experience using accounting software

  • 1+ years of previous experience as a Bookkeeper
