Associate - Investment Banking - Los Angeles Generalist (Financial Sponsors, Industrial Services, Gaming, Lodging, and Leisure)

Essential Functions/Responsibility Statements:

  • Provides support to senior bankers.

  • Develop client presentation materials, including all background research, analysis and drafting.

  • Familiarity with financial models and other financial analysis.

  • Performing detailed valuation analysis, including discounted cash flow, trading comparables,transaction comparables and LBO analysis.

  • Support product partners and monitor entire execution process for transactions ensuring timely execution to meet client expectations.

  • Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements and policies.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree and/or equivalent work experience, in Finance, Business, or a related field.

  • Master’s degree or MBA (Preferred).

Work Experience:

  • Experience in Financial Sponsors, Industrial Services, and/or Gaming, Lodging, and Leisure Investment Banking (Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience or MBA/Master’s and 1+ years of experience).

Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of corporate finance and investment banking products, with a preference to experience in Leveraged Finance and M&A.

  • Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint with advanced financial modeling skills.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Team player and self starter.

For NYC and California Job Applicants: The base annual salary range for this position is $175,000-$225,000. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
