    Position description

Assistant Adjunct Professor: The UCLA Department of Neurobiology seeks an exceptional neuroimaging scientist with an established reputation in the area of human and mouse stem cell culture, mouse and chicken embryonic models and bioinformatic approaches. This individual will be working to develop a robust directed differentiation hPSC protocols for the dorsal spinal cord that transcriptionally mirror endogenous dorsal interneurons. Applicants must possess an earned doctorate in neurobiology or a related field, and a minimum of 5 years post-doctoral research training in a relevant field of study. Successful candidates will exhibit outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, leadership potential, and high ethical responsibility. A track record of publications in internationally recognized journals and dedication to collaborative, multidisciplinary research is required. Position will require teaching in core neuroscience courses.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (required at time of application)

Terminal degree in neurosciences or related field and five years of related postdoctoral experience.
