Description

in this role, you will provide executive-level administrative and programmatic support to the Executive Director of Cancer Services and additional Cancer Program staff. General administrative responsibilities include managing a complex calendar, scheduling and organizing meetings, composing correspondence, transcribing minutes, and preparing presentations, arranging travel plans & reimbursements, ordering business cards, catering, support service tickets, directory changes, Recharge Order Request, check requests, and assisting with miscellaneous other tasks for the Cancer Program. Provide back-up support to other office assistants as needed. Provide programmatic support for the Cancer Services program through coordination of accreditation timelines, deliverables, and submissions; assisting with the aggregation and visualization of data; anticipating and responding to internal and external inquiries for resources, meetings and materials; developing tracking mechanisms for document management and tracking to Cancer Program goals, deliverables and key performance indicators. Serve as a key organizational resource by providing prompt, professional support and direction for all parties interacting with the Cancer Program.

Salary range: $29.94/hr - $47.76/hrQualifications

Required:

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments to complete work in a timely manner despite competing priorities and conflicting deadlines.

  • Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

  • Analytical skills to evaluate data, solve problems, draw conclusions and make sound recommendations.

  • Financial skills sufficient to calculate percentages, ratios, rates in order to: determine costs, provide financial projections, and prepare analytical reports.

  • Effective writing skills to develop concise, effective and professional business correspondence, presentations and reports.

  • Effective verbal communications and interpersonal skills to actively listen, respond to the business need, and convey information concisely and professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated skills in using various software, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, in a Windows environment.

  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, coworkers and public.

  • Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction.

  • Ability to work with confidential and highly sensitive information with discretion.

  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with peers, leaders, and staff.
