Description

This position is responsible for managing or administering a wide-range of responsibilities to support day-to-day administration of an academic or non-academic organization(s). Administrative support includes planning and/or development; interprets, monitors, and analyzes information regarding policies and procedures; special projects or assignments that are moderately sensitive or complex, requiring a level of independence and initiative in execution and implementation. Handles details and oversees work of a confidential and critical nature to support. Demonstrates good judgement in determining methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

3 years minimum of Business operations and/or administration experience

Ability to use high-level discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality

Proficient knowledge of common computer application programs (MSOffice Suite- Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Solid and proven analytical / problem solving skills

Communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work effectively with University-wide and campus-wide Administrators, Deans, Department Chair, faculty and staff both orally and written

Knowledge of academic and/or administrative structure of institutions of higher education (preferred).
