Description

As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative and project support to Pathologists, Residents, and Fellows within the Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine. Your primary duties include:

  • Scheduling meetings, conferences, and managing calendars (high-volume).

  • Performing clerical duties such as answering phones, maintaining files and databases.

  • Drafting correspondences, preparing forms, and assisting in creating reports.

  • Processing travel arrangements and expense reimbursements.

  • Monitoring and replenishing office supplies inventory.

  • Assisting with library searches, manuscript and research preparation, and quality assurance/performance improvement reports.

Salary Range: $28.23 - $40.44/hourQualifications

  • Must have at least one year of experience working in an office/administrative setting.

  • Ability to manage short-term and long-term projects and committees.

  • Ability to prepare forms, correspondence, and memos with accuracy and speed to meet deadlines, including knowledge of different font styles and sizes and graphics to produce various effects.

  • Skill in making travel arrangements including knowledge of travel modes, reservations techniques, air and ground transportation and time zone changes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to occasionally work outside of normal schedule, including weekends.

  • Ability to transport up to 25 lbs.
