The USC Sol Price School of Public Policy invites applicants for an adjunct faculty position in the Governance, Management & the Policy Process department. The successful candidate should possess a master’s degree in public administration, government, public affairs, or a related field such as political science or sociology, and should have professional experience in a related field. This position serves as a faculty cohort coach in the online program to provide training and development of essential academic skills including but not limited to critical thinking and digital literacy skills and other key methods for online education engagement. The coach will provide professional development sessions and facilitate engagement in the online MPA program between faculty and students. This position is not restricted geographically and can be filled by any candidate with broadband internet access.

Preference will be given to candidates with prior teaching experience and excellent teaching evaluations.

Adjunct instructor responsibilities include delivery of course content, scheduling office hours and being accessible to students as appropriate, and grading. Each instructor is expected to provide students with a syllabus outlining the course goals, schedule and all requirements for the course under the direction of the Department Chair.
