We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Van Driver to work at our Lorain County facilities.

The Van Driver provides transportation services for agency clients on predetermined routes.

Essential Functions:

Operates agency's noncommercial passenger van for purposes of transporting clients to and from service locations. Follows assigned routes and time schedules. Insures compliance of agency's transportation rules and procedures. Abides by all laws and safety procedures. Completes mileage and transportation logs. Maintains cleanliness of assigned vehicle and performs daily inspection checklist. Reports needed repairs and maintenance to Supervisor for scheduling. Forwards fuel and related expense receipts to supervisor. Reports emergency situations to the appropriate Department Director(s). Assists with minor housekeeping and sanitizing within assigned facility as needed during down time in transportation routes. Other duties as assigned.

General Requirements:

Must possess a valid Driver's License (CDL is NOT required) and have a good driving record with no traffic violations. Must be able to safely operate noncommercial passenger vans. Must possess good verbal communication and time management skills. Must have the ability to effectively work with agency employees, outside contacts, and a diverse client population.

*Educational Requirements: *High School Diploma or equivalent required.

*Certification Requirements: *None. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is NOT required.

*Amount of Travel: *Daily use of agency vehicles on assigned routes; mostly confined to local travel.

*Salary Range: *$10.45/hour starting rate.

*Hours: *Part-Time 20 hours per week;Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; May Fluctuate Based on Department Needs.
