About the Role
IN this role you will support our distribution centers through a diversified approach of engineering principles and practices to successfully maximize productivity, quality, and service. You will need to Try Fast, Learn Fast, Think Big by leveraging engineering techniques to establish methods for maximizing optimization with a focus on continuous improvement that positively impacts our business and customers.
What You'll Do
Identify and drive process improvement through consistent analysis methods and standards, identify best practices, benchmarks and areas for improvement to balance cost, service and productivity
Implement continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives, by educating and influencing operational leaders to improve performance metrics
Establish and maintain effective cross functional relationships with business partners including internal/external customers through education and influence to improve performance metrics
Research industry best practices and prepare projects to implement best practices as they apply throughout the distribution center
Identify and develop solutions to allow the distribution centers to run effectively
Who You Are
Technical knowledge of distribution operations, process flow analysis, network modeling, DC design and material handling systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and build consensus across multiple stakeholders and functions
Ability to drive results through data analysis
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhering to strict timelines
