JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a long term job with a secure company? Look no further! Wood is currently seeking applicants for a Journeyman Electrician position available at our Longmont Colorado facility. Wood offers multiple medical, dental and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401k and many other benefits. Salary ranges from $38.00 to $44.00, depending on experience.

Authorization to work lawfully within the US without sponsorship from Wood is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Determine appropriate actions for work performed based on written, diagrammatic, and/or verbal instructions received Installation of electrical equipment for general purpose and classified areas Installation of EMT and RGS conduit and wiring systems for general purpose and classified areas Terminate power, communication and signaling conductors/cables Perform electrical testing with multi-meters, megohmmeter, and Hi Pot units Maintain current technical knowledge of government and company policies, codes and regulations Determine causes of defective performance and make repairs as needed Responsible for following safety procedures and maintaining safety data Adhere to all safety requirements, local and NEC Codes

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical/Business Skills, Experience and Training Experience in the industrial/petroleum/related industry preferred Must meet all Colorado licensing requirements for Journeyman Electrician Current Colorado journeyman license or be able to reciprocate is preferred Open to 3rd or 4th year apprentice - training available Registration is required within 6 months of employment Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, fit test and background check.
