Nourish is looking for an Cafe Operations M anager to lead the team at a top client for Daily Dining in Mid-Town Manhattan . This leadership role will manage the entire operations to ensure the highest level of food quality and customer service is achieved each day. This Cafe Operations leader will come with a background in hospitality/restaurant management and have a proven ability to lead and develop teams in agile culinary operations.

In this role you will:

  • Report to the Resident District Manager for Nourish in NYC, with a dotted line to the Executive Chef

  • Manage the culinary and guest experience for a key strategic account in Manhattan, reporting on location 2-3 days per week

  • Collaborate with Nourish culinary and ops teams to lead client programming across menu planning, seasonal activations, and client success, reporting at Nourish HQ in Long Island City 2-3 days per week

  • This role will be a combination of duties across culinary/BOH as well as hospitality/FOH

  • Ensure daily service is executed to highest levels of quality, specifically managed through developing and following critical SOPs, team hospitality training and service excellence, and guest satisfaction of the culinary experience

  • Manage program budget, specifically across headcount/ordering accuracy, portioning, and applicable controllable costs

  • On site point of contact with client, delivering prompt response times and resolutions to program opportunities

  • Provide key metric performance for monthly and quarterly business reviews

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 2 years

Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
