Description We are in search of a Property Accountant to join our team within the construction industry, based in Long Beach, California. This role involves managing financial activities related to real estate and property development. This includes handling equity loans, property accounting, and budgeting. You will be working with multiple entities and performing job cost analyses.

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial operations related to property development and real estate.

• Handle equity loans and maintain records of multiple entities.

• Conduct job costing and analyze job budgets.

• Utilize Yardi software for managing property-related accounting tasks.

• Work on financial duties related to commercial real estate.

• Develop and maintain accurate records of home equity loans.

• Contribute to the management of financial activities in the construction/contractor industry.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision-making.

• Handle all aspects of property accounting, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

• Assist in other financial tasks and projects as needed. Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of two years experience in Property Accounting

• Knowledge and experience in Commercial Real Estate is required

• Experience in handling Home Equity Loans and Equity Loans

• Proficiency in managing Multiple Entities in a business context

• Must have experience in Job Cost Accounting

• Familiarity and proficiency with Yardi software is a necessity

• Must have experience in Budgeting and financial forecasting

• Must be able to work in a construction/contractor industry setting
