Fooda Event Coordinator (Part-Time) in Long Beach, California

Powered by technology and a network of over 2,000 restaurants, Fooda feeds hungry people at work through our ongoing food programs located within companies, office buildings, hospitals, and more.  Every day, each Fooda location is served by different restaurants that comes onsite and serves fresh lunch from their chef’s unique menu. Fooda operates in 44 cities and continues its expansion across the United States.

Fooda is recruiting a part-time Event Coordinator dedicated to one of our clients in Long Beach, CA.  You will be on-site at their office and manage the workplace food program every day.  This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for our client contact, their employees, and our restaurant network.

  • Ensure we are providing a high-quality experience day-in and day-out

  • Help restaurants get on-site and ensure the setups are organized, clean, and aesthetically-pleasing.

  • Provide on-site customer service to resolve issues promptly.

  • Audit restaurant partners to ensure consistency and excellence.

  • Problem-solve for issues such as late restaurant arrivals, order complaints, and on-site technology.

  • Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures.

  • Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve.  

    Who You Are:  

  • You love building relationships with customers and enjoy customer service.

  • You are friendly, high energy and love interacting with other people.

  • You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you’re capable of finding solutions.

  • You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!

  • You are savvy with technology.

  • You are looking for a steady part-time job between the hours of 10am-2pm, Monday-Friday.  Possibility of additional hours depending on the needs of the client.

  • You have a car and are located within a 30-minute drive of Long Beach, CA.

  • Prior catering or serving experience preferred.
