INTRODUCTION:
Adecco Staffing is partnering with a Long Beach, CA company to hire various CNC Machinists. Positions are full-time contract-to-hire positions that will include the client company's benefits when candidates become permanent employees of the client company.
JOB TITLE:
CNC Machinists
JOB DESCRIPTION:
CNC Machinists use a variety of CNC lathes and mills and work with graphite for the manufacturing of parts for various industries, including aerospace, by manufacturing procedures as approved by the FAA.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Review blueprints and drawings to determine set-up procedures, machining sequences, and dimensions. Must be able to set up jobs by loading programs, selecting fixtures, part holders, and tooling machine parts to specifications.
· Familiarity with CNC machine controls and their functions (adjusting tool offset, indicating fixtures or parts, changing tools, and following along with the part program).
· Monitor tools and attachments to ensure parts are properly cooled and lubricated.
· Knowledge of feeds, speeds, and surface finishes related to blueprint requirements.
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and geometric tolerances.
· Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, dial bores, thread gauges, and basic measuring tools.
· Full compliance with Adecco's client company's DOT Antidrug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Program.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
· Must be Forklift Certified- Sit-down
· Minimum 5 years of experience in lathe; 3 years on CNC Mill/Lathe
· Will train candidates with related experience, for example, automotive manufacturing and repair, and metal fabrication

PAY RANGE:
$23.00 - $28.00/hour DOE
SCHEDULE:
1st shift: Monday- Friday, 6 AM- 2:30 PM
2nd shift: Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM- 10:30 PM
(OT as needed on Saturday, 7 AM - 12 PM)

Pay Details: $23.00 to $28.00 per hour
